Tight turtlenecks are back in fashion and you better be ready to wear them. In today’s article, I want to share with you best ideas how to make this top look and feel just right. You might ask me, why should we wear tight turtlenecks anyway? Are they an IT fashion thing right now?
This is a safe piece for creating successful outfits, as you can easily experiment with it in any way you want. by layering it under leather jackets, fur coats, and even dresses. Why tight turtleneck? It’s a perfect way to start creating new outfits, it entirely covers your upper body, and you can easily translate it to any style. Yes, you are free to create preppy, sexy, retro, luxe, polished, hipster, glamour or any other look you want. Sure, the best outfits I have seen so far are the ones that are 1970 and 1990’s inspired.
So, how to make this garment work for your everyday life? It can be paired with pretty much everything, but I love to see them tucked in high-waisted bottoms, like skirts, shorts or pants. The funny thing is that you can never be sure, either it’s a turtleneck or a bodysuit tucked in high-rise bottoms. Anyway, I do recommend to wear tight turtlenecks with high-waist mini skirts, A-line skirts, pencil cut skirts, wide-leg pants, mom jeans, skinnies, boyfriends, overalls and under/ over shift dresses. Below are presented my favorite bloggers, who managed create fabulous looks with a help of a turtleneck! Check them out:
