We all are obsessed with an athleisure trend and today I want to show you my favorite athletic looks you can give a try. I remember those times when wearing track pants with heels, or sporty tees with pencil skirts were considered to be a faux pas. Nowadays, everything works and counts!
The athletic trend is pretty massive and looks damn hot. It’s no wonder why fashion industry wants us to dress sporty and look like athletics. The healthy life is on trend right now and you better do some sports in your life. This sporty attire, like that tennis style, separates, golf and marathons attire completed with red lipsticks and beautiful makeup looks incredible. The athleisure inspired looks can feature oversized tops, sexy shorts, mesh details, track pants, neon or bright sneakers, etc. Why don’t you take a close-up look through this street style looks to get the idea?
It’s like marrying athletic and gym style with casual and laid-back looks. The result appears to be sporty, but with a more eclectic look and rich fabrics. Indeed, take a look at those classic bombers, they became posh and glamour, tracksuits are made of exclusive fabrics, like leather. Most of the sporty separates can be worn with heels, oversized jersey tees completed with sparkles are worn as dresses, bright bra tops are okay to wear on the streets. I see women who pair sporty bra tops under blazers and it’s considered to be okay. One piece swimsuits are worn as bodysuits. I can continue with some more examples, but I think you dig it.
The fashion world dictates new rules and you better follow them in order to stay in the loop. Sure, athleisure is more about streets and laid-back style, this is not for work or professional meetings. You can’t pair the business suit with a mesh top, this will make you look ridiculous and weird. And still this trend can be seen on the streets, posh parties and creative events. Why is this happening right now? I guess we all are sick and tired of polished looks, preppy style, and schoolgirl outfits. Athletic style has so many options how to make ourselves look chic and still feminine. What do you think about this trend? Let me know in the comments below.
